The University Library (BU):
Each faculty has its own University Library, and you have access to every single one, you just choose the one you like more!!
They are generally open from 8:30 am until 7:00 pm!
Hint:
If you want to work a little longer, the library of the Faculty of Law is open until 8:00 pm;)

The group rooms at the University Library of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages
​
These group rooms are accessible to everyone, at the Library named "La Ruche"
You can easily do all your team works there and you can also borrow some equipment for projects, like a Laptop, a professional Camera or a video projector.

Municipal libraries
There are a lot and everywhere all around Poitiers: François Mitterand in downtown, the library of St-Eloi etc ...

Descartes' studying rooms (CROUS):
They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Warning! You need to be a part of the student residence CROUS in order to have access 24 hours a day.

With your student card (IZLY), you can go to the Restaurant of Champlain, or Rabelais and eat a full meal including a starter, a main dish and a dissert, at only 3,20 €!
But there is also a cafeteria selling pizzas and sandwiches at low prices as well, so you can choose whatever you prefer!

Quick / MacDonald’s are really close to the campus!
By using your student card you can always have offers at any fast food, or even a free burger!

Giant Shopping Centre
At a distance of 400m from the University Campus, you can find small restaurants or bakeries that offer delicious sandwiches, paninis, and drinks etc...

You will be able to regularly consult your timetable and your classes on the ENT thanks to your online account!
You can also find your University email account on the ENT site, through that, you can communicate with other students, professors, and everything related to the University.

Right next to the restaurant of Champlain, is the ‘The Maison des Etudiants (MDE)’ or otherwise the House for the Students. At the beginning of every year you can go at the MDE and find out everything you want, like information about the University, about Poitiers, or even about transportation around the city.
Several evenings, meetings are held in the MDE throughout the year!
By creating a ‘Culture card’ you have free access to most of the upcoming events.
